BREAKING NEWS FIRE INCIDENT AT IKOLI CLOSE, UNILAG

A fire incident has occurred at Ikoli close estate in UNILAG btw 12 am and 12:15am There are currently no reports of any casualties . There are ongoing efforts to put out the fire by the Fire Service.
This is happening in the spate of recent fire incidents like the hnjoku hall and the burning of a cybercafé in Yem Yem Supermarket which happened on Wednesday. Let’s hope there will be adequate measures taken to curtail these incidents in the future. There are also reports that so far there has been no response from the fire department.

 RECENT UPDATE: The Fire has been extinguished by the fire service. Looks like we don’t know what is causing this pattern of fires. We just the school management we find a solution to these fire incidents.

VC & Mgt. thank all students for efforts in combating the spate of unfortunate fire incidents on campus in the last one week. Students are reassured that a Unilag fire truck is expected in a week or two while the causes are being tackled to bring the situation under control.
