Manchester United have made an offer for Angel Di Maria and
are now waiting on a response from Real Madrid.
Di Maria has been told he can leave Madrid this summer and
looked destined to sign for PSG, only for the transfer to collapse yesterday.
United have maintained an interest and now reports in South
America say an offer has been tabled for the Argentine international – and the
Red Devils are waiting for a response.
Fox Sports pundit Christian Martin revealed the news on
Twitter, with the offer thought to be in the region of £55million.
It comes on the back of reports that United would be
prepared to pay Di Maria £120,000-a-week if he accepted a switch to Old
Trafford.
Di Maria currently earns £70,000-a-week at Madrid and is
looking for a big pay rise on his next contract.
