Many in South Africa are complaining seriously about the
"things" going on in the show A baby factory was on Friday unconvered
at Oko Market area in Asaba, Delta State.
Although reports were sketchy as of press time, Sunday Tribune learnt that the trafficker’s name was 40-year-old Chinelo Ezeogi who was residing in that area.
She was said to be recruiting unknown pregnant women and deliver them of their babies for sale.
Luck, however, ran out for her when police detectives from B’ Division, Asaba, acting on a tip off, swooped on the hideout of the and arrested Madam Ezeogi.
Five pregnant women from different parts of the country and four children namely: Ibrahim Usman (5 years old), Usman Mohammed (2years old), Chidera Okechukwu (5 years old) and Abigal Ezeugo (1 year old) were rescued.
Delta Police Public Officer (PPRO), DSP Celestina Kalu, confirmed the incident, saying investigations were in progress while the suspect would be arraign in court after conclusion of the investigation.
